RAILA'S STATEMENT AFTER BEING DENIED VISIT AT PANGANI POLICE STATION

The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader Raila Odinga has threatened to resume the anti-IEBC demonstration if the jailed mps are not released within today.
The Leader wants the mps be released without any charges failure to which they will resume the weekly protests.
Raila said this after visit to the Pangani Police station accompanied by his co-principal Mosses Wetangula and Nairobi county Governor Evans Kidero.
The leaders were only allowed to visit the female women representative Kilifi’s Aisha Jumwa and Busia’s Florence Mutua in Muthaiga police station.
The mps are to be reined in court and their charges read.  This has greatly prompted action among CORD supporters in Kibera, Nairobi and Kisumu
